SHAMPOO INGREDIENTS
Special blends of color, fragrance, and plant essences are important finishing touches for our shampoos, creating irresistible experiences. Depending on the version you select, your Head & Shoulders shampoo may contain the following ingredients.
Please refer to the ingredient statement for each product to learn which ingredients are in a specific formula.
Color Ingredients:
Did you know that Head & Shoulders shampoos come in a variety of shades, including white, blue, peach, teal, and pale green?
The shampoo is naturally white - special blends of three tints are used to create all the other shades of Head & Shoulders shampoo: Red (CI 17200 / Red 33), Yellow (CI 19140 / Yellow 5), and Blue (CI 42090 / Blue 1).
Cooling mint essences:
Many people with itchy scalps appreciate the cooling sensation provided by mint essences, so some of our shampoos contain mentha arvensis leaf oil, mentha piperita oil, or menthol.
Plant essences
Some shampoos also contain natural botanical extracts, such as:
- Aloe (aloe barbadensis leaf juice).
- Lemon (citrus limon fruit extract).
- Eucalyptus (eucalyptus globulus leaf extract).
- Almond oil (prunus amygdalus dulcis oil).
Fragrance ingredients
We take pride in our many fantastic scents- proving that anti-dandruff shampoos don’t have to smell like medicine to be effective!
Fragrances consist of multiple ingredients - these may include amyl cinnamal, benzyl salicylate, citronellol, hexyl cinnamal, limonene, linalool, and menthol.
